Sounds like you may be the victim of Ford's previous 'green' policy. To save all the little dolphins, they removed lead from the solder used in the cluster. This was fine for a few years, but after time, many of the joints became dry and caused all sorts of electrical gremlins in the car. It's a very common fault. Fairly 'simple' fix in that the cluster needs to be removed, and the PCB needs to be re soldered. There are many companies on Ebay that offer a repair service for this. I note you are not in the UK, so do a search for, 'Ford Focus cluster repair' to see if you can get it done locally.

(Don't be tempted to get a replacement cluster, you will come across numerous mis match issues that will be just as frustrating as the fault you currently have!)

There is a chance that an electronics person like a television repair man might be able to do it. It is more their area of expertise than a garage.

Do they still exist? LOL Thought modern folk just tossed into landfill (sorry, recycling) and bought new 🤣

RIP

I do agree that tv repair men aren’t common in the uk now. But the owner of this car is not in the uk. I don’t know which country. But it might be one where repairmen have not disappeared yet.

True, if it's India, they can repair anything there!

There’s some brilliant YouTube videos of them performing magical repairs on things. Eg a broken lorry axle. YouTube.com/watch?v=QPI2X_rkFEI     It’s quite long but interesting although they do seem to use hammers very freely.
