Change to LED rear lights, MK4

Featured Replies

Hello!

Simple question.

Is it possible to change to LED rear lights?

Some ST models come with halogen rear lights, even tho all Titanium models comes with LED (no idea why), and thinking of buying the Titanium ones from a car scrap (no idea the english word for it :D)

Is it plug and play?

It needs the configuration changed so that it doesn't look for the increased load from incandescent lamps. The word you are looking for is scrap yard or scrappy 😀 I have heard it is possible with load resistors though.

Yeah I'm thinking of load resistors in that case. So guess it should be possible. 🙂

Thanks!

If you do make sure to mount them on metal as they get really hot.
