Hi my mk7 transit 2.4 was sat up for a while before I bought it the previous owner said it needed an injector fixing because on tick over it taps quite loud. I’ve only owned it for about two weeks and have put brand new starter motor on it service including oil change etc new MAF sensor I have had an independent mechanic check the injectors over he used a type of stethoscope and listened to them and said they are all working… problem is when I drive the van there’s a whooshing sound which I’m putting down to the inter cooler having a big dent in it but there’s a really bad jerking action when I try to accelarate so my question is can the injector still be the issue causing the tapping and the jerking ?
