Any 'expert' here on Google calendar use?

Featured Replies

Is there a way of importing the UK dates of Valentines, Easter, mothers day, fathers day etc to the Google Calendar? I can't find a suitable calendar to 'import' - must be missing something really simple!

A bit of info here....

But I do not have any real suggestions, I tend to add dates manually.

Happy New Year !

The holidays are included on a separate calendar. See if this helps:

I have 'ticked' holidays in UK, but I still don't get Easter etc inserted, putting them all in manually sort of defeats the purpose of having an 'electronic' calendar, may as well go back to my 80s FiloFax LOL

Things like Easter & Mother's Day change every year which is a pain.  At least for the same dates you can just add them with a years repetition ticked.

I can't help though...can't even fix my own calendar issue.  I use the calendar app on both the laptop and Android phone...they're meant to be synced, yet sometimes they add to both and others they don't, can't work out why so far!

I actually use an FIA add on which places the dates/times of the whole F1 calendar automatically for me throughout the year with dates/times etc that obviously change annually. There must be something for 'ordinary' calendar dates out there, I'll keep hunting...

That's weird. I have "Holidays in the United Kingdom" selected and it shows Easter on 17th April for me, plus the Good Friday & Easter Monday holidays. Also, I fear you may have given away your secret yuppie life.

To be honest, not much of a secret LOL I think I just cracked it. I had UK holiday ticked, but going into the calendar settings there was an option to 'integrate calendar', so hit that, and all needed dates were there. The static dates like Valentines day still aren't but I know that one off by heart!

I prefer old school 😀
