Hello, where do I start,I've got a 2009 Ford focus titanium 1.8tdci and my battery recently died so I got a jump start off my friend,so after I got it started again I was driving home and noticed my dash board indicator lights aswell as the hazard light don't work in the car but work outside aswell as the central locking and the reverse lights have all stopped working, has anybody have an idea what could be the problem I checked the fuses and they seem fine?

Did you replace the battery, or just continue to use it?

I continued to use it,it only happened last week, but when I jump started it, it started first time and hasn't gave me any other issues the radio, the car lighter and the ac and heating work fine ?

how skilled are you at the jump starting idea and what did you use?

the clever little lithium support boxes should be OK when used correctly

another car so long as you connect up the correct way and don't cause lots of sparks should be OK too,

worth noting as the electronics get more and more complex many later cars now have remote connection points (rather than direct to the battery) so the cars battery and its electronics now better understand who's throwing major current at them (though not applicable on this car I believe) .

A major fly in the ointment on remote diagnosing - we can't see the vehicle - nor have any understanding if its condition, mileage or maintenance history - it may have been deteriorating from multiple things when one triggers the driver to notice other issue that are not directly related.

As you say multiple things its not really going to work here....

There is a module below the battery, inside the car than can give up, especially if it gets wet - it controls much of the cars electrical systems (the GEM).  Get someone proficient to take a look about and make sure the battery is good and all connections look sound and there no sign of damage /  burning or wet bits to the GEM - and ideally plug in diagnostics and see if it comes up with anything sensible to go on...

The instrument cluster pack on these ages, and some could just be a few capacitors have given up from the trauma - a specialist or electrical boffin taking a look over the insides of the cluster might highlight a few solder joints that need remaking and a few aged capacitors you should swap out - 40 quid DIY or 140 to let a bod do it with a guarantee (but this shouldn't impact the hazards or the reversing lights)

On my brothers 2009 1.8tdci one day the indicator tell tale lights stopped working and clicker sound stopped but indicators outside flashed fine. Also the frost light was on all the time and outside temp showed a dash. I think there were some other things as well not right.  It was all fixed by reseating one of the plugs on the underneath of the bcm. The bcm is under glove box and can be kicked by passenger as well as suffering from water ingress sometimes. Hopefully it’s as easy for you but I know it often doesn’t go that way.
