Car never starts!

Featured Replies

Can someone please help! My 2008 smax has been off the road for months because the garage won’t take it back saying they don’t know why it won’t start (reoccurring problem of car just not starting). It was towed and they charged it and the car worked again, but I mentioned the immobiliser light keeps appearing yet they said they see no faults and the car is totally fine, was just flat. 2 days later, car wouldn’t start again. It’s been seen so many times but keeps refusing to start and immobiliser active message comes on! The car is now going all mouldy inside and we’ve been unable to drive out with 5 kids for months. I’m at the end of my tether! I tried to charge before Christmas but couldn’t get it started. It won’t even tick over. Any advice? Many thanks, Helen

Could be he Powertrain Module (PCM): no power to the PCM. Read in a forum should be relais 2. You culd try to renew the powercable, shouldn't cost you a fortune. The PCM itself is an expensive part...
