Hi all. Im new to this forum. I have a S-Max 2010 2ltr Diesel. I have had the bushes, and bearing checked along with the brakes. When I'm driving there is a grinding sound. When I turn left it gets worse. The only thing is you can only hear it when the passenger window is down, when the windows are up you can not hear anything. Does any body have any answers please as its driving me mad. Thanks in advance.

Driveshaft or CV joint needs checking then

You could also have a stone wedged in your brake pads
