Transit custom weak start

Hi, I’ve recently purchased a 2013 Transit custom, absolutely loving it except for quite a weak start. It doesn’t sound like it’s going to start most of the time. It’s had a new battery recently, the battery is still reading the correct voltage and there’s good continuity between the negative cable and a good earth. Also, when doing my battery checks, I found a loose connector under the driver’s seat and don’t know where it came from unfortunately. I was wondering if anyone recognises this. Thank you in advance!
