Hi good to be part of you’re forum, I recently bought a 2012 mondeo 2.2 tdci titanium x, beautiful looking car and I have some question about remapping and is it a timing belt or chain, any help is appreciated.

Hi mate and welcome.

AFAIK they are belt driven, but a mondy guru should be along in a bit to clarify

I used to think they were chain but I’ve been out of the game as they say for a while and things on a 2012 could be very much different. They used to say chains sucked hp so may have gone back to belts (even wet ones now I’ve read)

I think the mk3 were chain driven, but with this car being 2012 is should be mk4 which are belt i think????
