Rear parking sensors speaker location

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've got a problem with the parking sensors and Forscan says it's the rear speaker. The cars a 2014, I've got a replacement speaker but I can't for the life of me find the speaker to replace! I can see the parking control module behind the panel on the RHS of the boot but the speaker is nowhere to be seen.

I've seen comments that it could be in the headlining but I've pulled it down a bit and all I can see is the wiring for the roof aerial. I've also seen the rear A pillars mentioned and it doesn't seem to be there.

Alternatively, one site seemed to suggest the speaker for the rear is actually inside the control module. This seems unlikely due to the size of the speaker/module.

Any help would be great,

Thank you

Hello did you end up finding the speaker location?  I have stripped the D and C pillars and the rear roof and still cannot find the speaker on my Galaxy MK4.

Any help will be appreciated.

You are not alone with this problem:
