just got a mirror cam,where about in the reverse light do i put the red wire? i have a 2018 fiesta zetec ecoboost.thanks

    You will need to identify the positive wire for the reverse light and then splice into that.

    No problem, unfortunately I don't know what colour wire it is though. You will need a multimeter to check it. I do a fair bit of wiring so I have wire piercing probes for my multimeter, they are pretty good and allow you to test wires without having to cut them or disconnect plugs etc

    Alternatively, you can just unplug the connector, pop the car into reverse and touch each pin until you find the one you need. Remember to double check the wire you identify by taking it out if reverse and making sure there is no power to the wire. (Sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs)

     Wondering if the reverse wire connector is near the original interior mirror. If it's there it's green/brown on pin 2 of a 5 pin connector.

    I'm assuming a mirror cam is one of those you attach over the original mirror?
