At a friends house today, I was asked if I could get an elderly torch back to working order. I love a good potter, so on opening it up, I could see evidence of battery leakage, which I knew a bit of patience, sandpaper, lighter fluid, and a small screwdriver would cure it. At the finish line, I asked if she had 4 x AA batteries. she returned proudly with 4 in her hand. To her credit, yes, they were all AA, however, not only 4 x different brands, there were 2 x alkaline, and 2 x zinc!

Why don't women know stuff?? 🤣

(Disclaimer - yes, I know this is wildly politically incorrect, but feel free to troll me on twitter/FaceBook or whatever - if I ever choose to sign up to them LOL)
