New s-max owner with some techy questions

Hello all

Im trying to get started using forscan with a newly acquired S-Max, and would appreciate a few tips to get me started please?

Car is Ford Galaxy\S-Max Duratorq Turbo Diesel Common Rail Injection Stage V 2.0L 2014 ( 2010.5MY ), VIN: WF0*********76697 UK market

I can connect to the car and list some DTCs and clear them, I can list modules but cautious about messing with them!

I have replaced the 6000CD with an Android headunit and most things working perfectly, but the parking assist has stopped. Im guessing this may be because of the radio, but I notice the dash button doesnt light when pressed, except very occasionally... I could have loose connections which I'll check again but it appears only to turn on/off on occasion. Is this related to the radio change, and as for the sounds, do I need to change something via forscan to get the parking assist working again or does it need 3rd party sounders now?

I'd like to add cruise control if possible with this model? I could buy a scrap steering wheel but not sure what would need enabling?

Also planning to add a tow-bar, do I need to enable anything? probably using 3rd party electrics.

I am happy to cautiously try changing configurations but I like to understand what I'm doing first!

Very many thanks for any advice in advance.
