Bluetooth Conversion to Sync 3

Hi all,

I'm upgrading my 62 plate fiesta titanium with bluetooth voice control (FORD AUDIO) when connecting my phone.

I'm looking for the 54 pin connector wiring diagram so I can make the relevant connections to a sync 3 APIM.

I've searched high and low for this info, but keep coming across conflicting info across various forums.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Current module is 8m5t-19c112-at.

Thanks in advance!

Tom

Oh really? I thought you could tap in to the can lines and power a sync 3 apim? The module i mentioned has a 54 pin connector, so surely it's just a case of re-pinning to match the sync 3 apim.

Thanks,

As has been said above.

I assume you are referring to the Canbus lines. If that is the case then you are misunderstanding what canbus is.

I'm not fully aware of Canbus lines, but didn't mean to say they solely power the sync unit. I assume they are important to the sync unit working?

Is there a pin schedule for the unit I mentioned in my initial post? I've hunted high and low, but maybe you know where might be best to find that info?

Thanks,
