Passenger Footwell Panel

Featured Replies

I am trying to replace the heater resistor for my fiesta zetec s (2014), but I am having trouble removing the plastic panel in the passenger footwell at the centre console. The Phillips screw spins on the thread when I try to remove it meaning I can’t remove the panel. I also tried removing the connectors on the right side of the panel to help. I think the screw may be damaged, as all the components are plastic.

Does anyone have a solution, or has also had this issue?

Prise it out it’s a push in clip with a Phillips head on, it’s not a screw.

Thanks, I didn’t want to apply too much force to it as it’s only plastic. But I didn’t realise that, so I will give it a go!
