Hi all,

 

Thinking ahead for the day my car eventually arrives presuming I can still drive it with the price of petrol.

Has anybody any experience with Bike racks for the Mk8 Fiesta? I did see a review on Sea Suckers, but they are rather expensive.

My car wont have a tow bar nor would I want to add 1.

    The Saris Bones Black 2-Bike Bike Rack (£165) is excellent. Mount the top legs higher than the rear wiper's reach to avoid problems.

    id go with a roof rack to carry bikes any day. you don't need to bother with light boards and can still get in the boot. a roof rack gives options for the future to carry other things. just make sure any roof rack pack you get can carry your vehicle roof limit. the first rack i purchased could only carry 33kg which i had to upgrade to a new one that could carry 75kg as my needs changed.

    also it's worth paying extra for aerodynamic bars as square ones can whistle
