The front inner door pulls are starting to develop white spots, that just dont wipe off. Is there a way to clean properly or do i need to sand and lacquer ?

    I think Solvol Autosol may clean that, I have used it for years on Aluminium and Stainless Steel and have always been happy with the finished results.

    I concur, been using that stuff for 40 years. I'm also a fan of PEEK, another great polish...

    Jeez, not seen that stuff for a good 30yrs or so and only recognised it due to the picture.

    I can remember sneaking that out of my late dads cupboard along with a spray can of Gunk and spend hours cleaning the aluminium wheels and chrome chainset on my bicycle.

    Yes the solvol worked, debating lacquering them now, as once you start polishing metal you have to keep up with it.
