I just realised I have not connected my fiesta back onto my home Wifi after recently changing my router.

I can still check location, oil life..e.g, on the Ford app.

So what exactly is the benefit of connecting my car to my home wifi, is it just for system/map updates?

Also if I connect it, is it better to connect to my guest network

    It only uses wifi for sync and map updates.

    Everything else is done via the built in 4G modem.
