Smax 2.0 tdci 6 speed manual 2008

Car cranks but no start engine malfunction light on and immobiliser active, I've checked all fuses and they're fine.

Checked spare key incase of chip but thus didn't make any difference.

Checked all connectors going to the board under the glove box to make sure none was loose.

Any advice and suggestions on this one?

Could it possibly be a bad earth through the wiring somewhere and does anyone know what wire is the earth's I should be checking?
