Castrol market various  5w20 oil ,  which one is the best to use for a 1ltr ecco boost stop start

    I always use the one with the Ford logo which specifies on the label that it's for the "Ecoboost" engine. I've bought it from various retailers over the years including some who also sell on eBay. AE Motorsports is a place I've bought from a few times on eBay and they've always been good. They sell the service kits including filter and other items you may require depending on which service you are performing. Below is a link to a picture of the Ecoboost oil.

    The online ford store are offering the Castrol Magnatec 5Ltr for £29.99 inc free 48 hr delivery. This is the only oil to use with the EcoBoost wet belt.

    Actually it is not(fact).That is marketing hype.As I posted a few posts back, as long as it meets OR exceeds Ford specs the belt will be fine.I have not used Castrol in over twenty years.
