mk 7 expansion tank hoses - how many ?

hi all  - just bought my son a fiesta mk7 1.25l Zetec and the garage fitted an new expansion tank as old one had a broken cap stuck in it . looking at the new one and only 2 hoses connected . the thick one at the Bottom is there and the thin one that is attached to the top of side of the tank but underneath on the side  is another outlet with a blank in it . should there be another hoses attached to this and if yes there where would it go ?

    No, the third one is for a turbo coolant line for the models with turbo
