Car won't start

Featured Replies

Hi all

My 67 plate fiesta won't start.

Late Feb i caught covid and wasn't well for about 10 weeks. When i was better i tried starting my car but with no luck. My neighbour gave the car a jump start. He said drive around for a while to charge the battery. I drove around for around an hour.

I turned engine off when home then 30 mins later the same. Dead battery.

Can anyone help with this problem.

Thanks in advance

Jenny

Probably needs a new battery.

Though you can try charging yours with a proper battery charger first.  CTEK or Maypole are generally recommended on here.

Due to tight emissions regulations nowadays, driving only charges the battery the absolute minimum amount.
