Ford Fiesta Mk7 1,6 Tdci Remap?

Featured Replies

Hi all...

I was wondering, if anyone have any experience in remapping the MK7 1,6 TDCI engine?

And if so, how many bhp, torque and modifications have you made?

What will be "safe" to go with?

Please share your experience :)

I've got the 1.6TDCI in a C-Max and I thought about re-mapping it but the increase in power was what I would be getting with a tuning box. I think the most you can get out the 1.6TDCI presuming it's the 90BHP version is about 116BHP is the most I have seen which is a good increase but it all varies from company to company, if your going down the re-map route I would use celtic tuning as think their remap takes the power up to 116BHP, I've got a DTUK tuning box on mine and I'm getting about the same power as Celtic Tuning.

Hope this helps.
