Hi there,

We own a 2.0 titanium S Max. 
We have a problem when trying to put vehicle into Park. The P on the dash flashes even when engine is off and ignition is off. Radio stays on and you cannot lock the car. 
It used to be an intermittent problem but it’s constant now and the only way to reset it is to disconnect the battery and then re connect. 
If I forget to do this I wake up to a flat battery in the morning as the display has been on all night. 
I have searched the internet high and low for any insight on this but have come unstuck.
 

If anyone could shed some light on this it would be great.
