2014 Fiesta DPS6 transmission interchangable?

Featured Replies

2014 ford fiesta 1.6 se DPS6 transmission manufactured date 10-13. 149miles. The transmission internal bearing is junk last owner ran it out of oil. I was going to put a used transmission in it. I know I would need to get it programed after I was done. But could I use a newer used model in there? Like a 2016? I see a used one with low miles for a good price close by me. Would it work??

Providing it's the same spec, yes.

Make sure the part number matches etc (last letter can be higher)

EG

04XX 1007 AA the last A can be exchanged for B,C,D whatever

The first A must be the same

The 04XX part must match also

Otherwise the ratios will be the different

No need to programme other than resetting the clutch drum and adaptive learning strategy, all with Forscan
