Do I need new headlights

Featured Replies

I have bought a 2019 / 2018 model fiesta it has been imported from the USA and is LHD it has been re - registered in the UK so I guess the lights have been adjusted to driving on the left or that the lights have been replaced .

The car is going to Spain shortly and in six months it has to be registered the and the lights have to conform to driving on the right

Are all  Fiesta 2018 model cars fitted with projector lights no matter what country they are sold.

Will they adjust or am I buying new lights

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks Harry

Hello Harry, I don't have an answer for your 2018 model. All I can say is that on the previous model (up to August 2016) Ford had LHD and RHD headlights in all 3 types of headlight that were used on that model. I would expect the same for the 2018 but I don't have a parts list to be able to confirm. My guess is you will need replacement LHD headlights.

It's a pity you didn't have the original lights and it would have cost you nothing to swap them back.
