Problems Changing Up From 2Nd Gear, Just Me?

sometimes when i'm driving in a 30mph zone i go to change from 2nd to 3rd, put the clutch in all the way go to change out of 2nd and i can't get it out of 2nd unless i force it but even then it grinds a little, if it won't let go of 2nd gear i have to release the clutch then press the clutch and it feels like normal. i never have any of these problems with the other gears just 2nd, does this happen other peoples fiestas or is mine packing in?

    Mine seems to struggle sometimes going into second from a higer gear, but that might just be me moving a bit too fast, I'm sure around 10-15mph is slow enough though... :s

    aaahhhh right, i never thought of the speed side of things. it could be my driving as i do have a habit of putting my foot down to get up to speed, i had just come off a carrigway and when i am gettin up to speed on the carrigway i tend to be in 3rd and rev it to 4000rpm then change to 5th.
