Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else is having problems with the USB iPod integration on a Touch or iPhone since upgrading to iOS 4?

Everything worked perfectly with OS3, but since upgrading the stereo randomly hangs at the Ford Audio splash screen or says there are no tracks on the iPod. Restarting the iPod (or sometimes just killing the Music app) gets it working for a while, but it's a pain.

Is anyone else having problems? Any word on whether there's going to be a firmware upgrade for the stereo to sort it?

    I'm getting problems using my iPhone 4 via the USB cable. Ikeep getting the "no tracks on iPod" message.

    Think a firmware upgrade for the ICE is needed.... but how??

    Hmm, good thing I checked in here. I was tempted to update mine to v4. Think I'll be holding off for a while.

    UPDATE: All is wworking fine now. The problem may have been my iPhone 4 not syncing properly as the iTunes library file was "damaged". I restored this from a back up, resynced the phone, plugged it into the car and all works fine :)

    was at apple store last week getting i phone repaired was asking about this new iso4 and the wizz there said don't touch it if u have a touch or 3g it slows it down terribly....

    I second you there matey. If you have a 3G, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT UPGRADE TO iOS 4. As the 3G iPhone only has 128mb or RAM, it can't handle it, hence why there is no multi tast. My personal iPhone 3GS however goes like a dream. I have both iOS 4 on my two iPhones, and both are just as stubborn as each other with the Ford Audio System.
