Wheel Alignment

Featured Replies

Good morning,

I have a Fiesta Mk8 St-line 1.0 155hp registed on 2021 (probably produced on late 2020) and recently I needed a new set of tyres. Since I was happy with my Michelins Primacy 4 I decided to buy the same make and model and make a wheel alignment to make sure everything was ok.

I drive a lot on some twisty B roads on my daily comute and since the wheel alignment I don't feel the same responsiveness when I turn the wheel. I went to another shop to fix that and I exposed my concerns. They fixed the problem to an extent and found that the sterring had a severe toe-in. However I still feel some vagueness in the steering, and since I now know that the car is on the recommended values I was wondering if I should try to open even more the steering or if there is a different wheel alignment setting for st-line car (I find that to be unlikely, but still would love to hear your inputs).

Have it rechecked by someone who knows what they are doing

Hi João,

One other thought  - how many miles / km have you done on your new set of tyres? New tyres need approx 200miles to bed in so I'm wondering of some of the steering vagueness is because they haven't yet?
