2014 titanium auto aircon noise

Featured Replies

So I've had an intermittent noise that I couldn't figure out what the issue was. It was more silent until today where it was louder and persistent. I've narrowed it down to the air con. If it's on, the noise occurs. If I turn it off, disappears. Anyone know what the noise is and what the fix is and cost?

I have a video I recorded of it.

Sounds like the system may be low on gas causing that hissing noise.

Easiest & cheapest place to start is to have the gas level checked, and if it's low have it regassed.  Cost around £60 at a chain store.  You shouldn't be charged if the system is either at full capacity or if there's a leak as they are not legally allowed to refill a leaking system.

Ah okay, thanks for your input. I'm having it serviced in 2 weeks time so I'll have them also check this out. Thank you
