Used Ford parts online?

Featured Replies

Anyone recommend a good reliable online site for used Ford parts.

Looking for a full exhaust system , ready to fit that comes with warranty?

Thanks

What's wrong with a new exhaust system? What do you want, standard, stainless or other?

What car is it for? You've posted in the Fiesta section but have a Focus shown in your profile.

New exhaust system will be too expensive for an 09 plate Fiesta. Just need a standard used one for now as we dont plan on keeping it long.

Actually posting on behalf of my son who has the Fiesta

Must be somone you guys use as a good source of Ford parts . Could you please share?

Thanks

Pete

There must me at least a half a dozen (probably more) different exhaust systems for 2009 Fiesta and the chances of getting a second hand one (if you could even get it off) of the right type would be very slim.

Do you need a complete exhaust or just part of it ?

Take a look at Euro Car Parts

The exhaust system on these is fitted before the rear suspension at the factory.  It has to be cut off to remove so you won't find a used one in one piece.  And even if you do (where the entire car is being stripped) it would be too long to post and you'd have to cut & sleeve it to fit your sons car anyway.

It's likely to be more cost effective to buy a used aftermarket exhaust, or just buy a new aftermarket section if only one part needs replacement.

Which part?  New or used?  Which engine?

Can it be welded?  Often people replace exhausts when a welding repair will do the job.  Eg by an old school garage with a ramp and oxy acetylene welding torch.

The problem with welding is that the exhaust often has to be fully removed from the car first, unless you're very lucky with the damage location.
