Have had the cat checked and all ok, recent service done and spark plugs changed, emissions all ok just that the emission light has come on, cat has been cleaned as well

    The list could be endless, you really need to read the fault codes to have any idea.

    do you have access to a code reader, could be an oxygen sensor reporting incorrect mixture or dipstick seal, fuel tank seal, oil filler cap seal could be worn ????
