Auto stop/start light stuck off

Featured Replies

Hi guys!

I have a 2014 Ford Fiesta and the stop start on/off light isn’t letting me turn it on it just illuminates orange constantly, does anyone know why?

Thanks

Your battery voltage is too low for Start/Stop to be enabled.

The State Of Charge (SOC) needs to be 70% or more. Remember that on your model the smart charging system is programmed to only ever charge the battery to 80% so it doesn't take much to run the battery down.

Thank you for replying so quick!

I really appreciate it 🙂

The car has just been in the garage for 2 weeks having a gearbox replacement so explains why the battery level has dropped.
