Mk7 fiesta obd port no communication but does have power

Featured Replies

Hi I have just bought a couple mk7 2009 fiestas for me and the mrs for cheap commuting cars (1.6tdci zetec s & 1.4tdci style plus) but neither of them will communicate with my snap on solus pro (updated to 2017), they both power it up but fail to communicate, I have checked the fuse just in case and that’s fine but I have been reading all sorts about the obd wires been put in wrong places after a recall (I’m unsure if these have been recalled at any point), I am not sure how the wires should be but I have looked and both cars are wired exactly the same il include picture of the wires

i only figured this out as mine keeps going into limp mode when it’s cold under hard acceleration but fine when upto temperature and hers needed an injector so could do with scanning both of them

any help will be appreciated
