S-Max Middle Row Seat jammed fully forward on the runner

Featured Replies

Hi

Found this forum when trying to find the solution. For the third time since I got my 2018 S-Max, my kids have pulled the passenger side middle row seat too far forward and although I can reattach the seat to the runner after using the handle on the shoulder of the seat to allow passengers into the back row, when I reset the seat I cannot budge the seat on the runner to move it back to its regular position.

The previous times the seat would not reseat and I used my local Ford dealer to complete the repair when the car was in for service. They don't have any available appointments for a couple of weeks and I need to carry 7 people in the car next week.

I have full access to the rear Torx screws on the runner to attempt a seat removal but as it is jammed forward, I cannot access the Torx screws at the front.  Any suggestions on how to repair would be welcomed.
