I´m new here and I hope you can help me.

I have a Ford S-max WA6,  2012 Motor 2.0 Diesel 103 KW / 140 PS with automatic Transmission.

I want calibration the TCM .

The problem is that when I connect the Forscan or IDS to the car, it cannot detect the gearbox unit (TCM). And always it detects the car as Ford Mondeo with Manual Transmission.

I was able to communicate using manual entry , but programing is not available in manual entry mode in IDS .

( This function is not available because Manual Entry was used to create the vehicle session )

 

I have tried with ELM27 , Tactrix openport2.0 , VXDIAG with the same problem .

Hi, never seen a problem like this with FORScan before.

Just checked your VIN on the Ford ETIS site and it shows the following information:

S-Max/Galaxy 2006-2015,   2.0L Duratorq CR TC - DW10C

Panther Black (Metalic)

VIN: WF0XXGBWSCC09244

I think you should clear all stored profiles from FORScan then uninstall it. Re-download a new copy from the website and then re-install. You could also use the new 'vLinker FS' cable in place of the ELM327.

i have tried with other Laptop too , with the same problem , and tested with Forscan with VXDIAG and with Tactrix open port , and always the same problem .

To get support you need to buy a license

Forscan stopped support for members without a license or users with a free trial license. They simply will not answer on requests of non licensed users.

The normal answer would be yes.

However, FORScan is a Russian product and therefore because of sanctions against Russia most credit card payments are blocked. I understand that payments for a FORScan licence maybe still possible by other means.

If you can buy a licence then you will be able to get support and help with your FORScan problem.
