fiesta Mk6 windscreen heater faulty

Featured Replies

Hi

I tried searching for answers but constantly get a message to wait 15 seconds, is this not working?

As the tile suggests the heater isn't working. I checked the 2 30A fuses and these seem OK. There is a relay R2 that could also be faulty as I don't hear a clicking when I press the heater button, could this indicate a fault, should be be clicking?

The engine load should also react but this is clearly not the case. I read somewhere that it could be the electrical connections on the screen itself that could be broken. Are these at the A pillars? On which side if I may ask? Any help really appreciated

cheers

D

Unless the outside is less than 7C then the heated front screen will not turn on.
