Neb_engineer
I have been finding conflicting things on what the car's maximum braked is, could anyone help?
agraham
I think it should be on the vehicle identification plate in the right door aperture as ' Gross Train Weight'. Subtract 'Gross Vehicle Weight' also on the plate to give the nominal trailer max weight. There should be a section on towing in your car user manual.
unofix
Weight 'G' - 'F' = Towing maximum
Neb_engineer
Cheers, guess it's a lowly 600kg
unofix
Well you could always tow a wheelbarrow home from the Garden Centre 🤣
TomsFocus
600kg is the equivalent of 10 passengers. What were you hoping to tow with it? I towed an Erde102 full of rubble with a 106 NAD once...57bhp was not enough...but the tiny solid front discs were even less suitable.
