Brake light

Featured Replies

Hi is there any body out there who knows how to take the spoiler brake light out on a Ford Fiesta st line x m8 2018 there is no screws on the out side of the lens the washer jet has push in and I got to take it out to investigate the problem

Have you had a look in the hand book under the changing bulbs section?

I already looked in the manual I will have  another look nobody seems to know how you take the third brake light out I have got to take it out because the back window jet is in with the brake light don’t no how it as been push in thanks for that I will look in the book again Dave cheers mate 👍👍👍👍👍

The manual says that the bulb is a LED and should be changed by a dealer - so no instructions 😞

The workshop manual  that I have implies that you need to remove the spoiler. There are six bolts to remove on the inside of the tailgate. Two each at the upper left and right of the tailgate and two more behind the trim at the top of the rear window that should lever out. Once the spoiler  is free you should see the wash wipe tube and the light connector. The picture in my copy of the manual is too pixelated to see the detail but there appear to be two clips on the normally hidden front edge of the spoiler holding the lens which seems to pull out rearwards.
