Driver seat cushion removal

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me if i can take the top upholstery of a mk8 fiesta drivers seat easily. The clamps underneath are not tight enough and the seat moves left and right round corners, is there any tips on fixing or is it just take top seat off and tighten Tia.

No.  You'll have to remove the seat whole and then go in from underneath.  It's just 4 bolts through the floor but be aware of the airbag and pretensioner plugs.

Hopefully you can just lean the seat back onto the rear bench to access the underside.  If not, you may have to manoeuvre the whole thing out through the door.

Cheers for that but i can see the plastic jubilee style clips sliding over the bar, making it move. There is a thread that comes down but its tightened from top. Was wondering if i could put a nut on and tighten up,from underneath

Hello Paul, did you ever solve this? I am having the same problem on my 2020 Fiesta ST-Line and Ford changed the seat cushion under warranty and the seat cushion still moves about 5mm left and right. Thanks in advance.

Hello Paul,

Paul would have been classified as a "One Post Wonder" if it hadn't been for the fact he made 2 posts 🤣

He has never returned since the original post 4th July 2022, so you're unlikely to get an answer.
