Alloy wheel nuts/bolts

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

I’m swapping my fiesta 14inch steel wheels with some 16inch alloys I bought. I’m looking for the nuts and/or bolts that go on it as the nuts underneath are very rusted and don’t look to good as they have never been on display before. Which nuts/bolts do I need to go for?
Thanks for your time 🙂

without seeing them, i'm guessing, but these have been common from ford for alloys for a long time

can probably find packs for cheaper.

Partly depends what the wheels were from.  Assuming they're from another Mk7.5 Fiesta then global alloy nuts, as linked above, should be correct.

There's no need to change the studs, they'll be covered once the wheel is fitted.

Yes they are from a mk7.5 2016 Fiesta titanium. Just wanted some different nuts as the ones on now wouldn’t look right when the alloys are on. Thanks

Also, while the alloy nuts take time to come. Can I fit the alloys with the old nuts or should I wait for the alloy ones to come?

Don't think those are global spec, look like the older style to me... 🤔

(PS - Fiesta's are 4 stud, so only need 16 nuts.  Or 12 if you wish to fit a set of locking wheel nuts as well.)

You'll need to wait.  The steel nuts aren't designer to be used with alloys.

So are the global ones the newer version that all models use?b

'Most' models.  But yes, Fiesta, Focus & Mondeo all used them from the early 2010's.  Some wheels are compatible with both types during the transitional period.
