Mk6 06 Fiesta AC/Cooling fan not working

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm not sure whether the fan kicks in at all but I know that when I attempt to use the AC the fan doesn't kick in at all and blows hot air in, which is hell atm. I've tried searching online and found it could be due to a blow air conditioning fuse (F4) which I replaced and made no difference, also checking the engine cooling fan (R2) which wasn't present neither was any socket the only fuse being the A/C compressor Clutch (R1). Besides the Air-conditioning system (FD) I have no idea what else to check, any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

The car is a 2006 model, when was the AC system last refiled with refrigerant ?

Even assuming that it has no leaks (which would be amazing) the system generally needs serviced every 7 years.
