2016 Fiesta Zetec S synk software update installation - failed

Featured Replies

As far as I'm aware, my Fiesta is still running with the original sync installation, so I thought that as an update is available it may be a good idea to install it. I have downloaded the sync update files and unpacked them onto a 16gb FAT32 formatted USB. However, when attempting to install in my Fiesta the USB is not being recognised. The only file on the USB is the unpacked SYNC update. Has anyone any suggestions of where my installation process is going wrong, or what I can do to complete the process?

If it's a Sync3 the instructions say the USB format needs to be exFat. Read the web page that you got the update from carefully again.

I wouldn't bother if it's sync 1.1 . No benefit really. I did it only partner's fiesta and none the wiser what it updated.
