Ford fiesta st-line 2019 front and rear brake pads replacement UK

Featured Replies

Hi can anyone recommend where the best priced place is to get my Ford fiesta st-line 2019 front and rear brake pads replaced and fitted on the UK high street.

To date I've been quoted £186 for the fronts and £194 for the rear supplied and fitted from the Ford dealers.

Cheers in advance for any recommendations.

Sounds a bit expensive. A set of front pads are about £65 so it seems they'll be charging you £120 for fitting for a 15 minute job.

Are you changing to a different type of pad or are your pads worn out already, track days?

I've got a 2019 ST-Line 140 with just over 50,000 miles on the clock and my pads are only about 20% worn.

Hi Mate

I thought it was expensive but I'm out of touch with car part costs. Just looking to replace the pads for everyday use apparently there is only 3mm left on each pad and its been indicated as an advisory on the MOT .

Set of pads for both front and rear should be well under £100, and under £100 if you have a brand preference.

Dealers will have your eyes out, as exampled by the quote you've been given.

You'll be best off finding a local independent garage, NOT Kwik Fit and their ilk, and ask them for a price.  It will be way less than the Main Stealers.

If you're semi handy with tools and have a jack, then do it yourself.  It's literally two bolts per caliper when you've got the wheels off.  You'll only need to buy a tool to push the pistons back in, take the cap off the brake fluid reservoir though.  If you can do it yourself, you'll save a wedge of cash for not a lot of time.
