MK2 Ford S-Max outer tail light cluster - can it be opened?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

One of the LED strips from the right outer tail light cluster on my 2015 S-Max (Titanium) has stopped working.

I took out the cluster (pretty easy), but it looks like it's glued shut.

Has anyone managed to open / fix this? Or is it time for me to set an alarm on eBay / check breakeryard?

Also, the part number I have on mine is EM2B-13404-BG, but on eBay I found one ending in -BP. Is there a difference between them?

Thank you,

--

The plastic is Ultrasonically welded. Once sealed it would have to be cut open with something like a Dremel.

I have the same problem. So, is there a difference between them?

Thank you!
