Replacement Hose

Featured Replies

Hi, Im looking for a part on my in-laws 2007 fiesta but i'm unsure of the exact name or model number and hoping someone can help. It seems to connect to the engine by push and twist and the nipples that lock seem to have snapped. the hose itself is fine but he has had to tape it into place and hoping to find the part to buy a new one. We went to the local ford breakers but the fiesta was up in the racks and they said to us to climb up and check which is stupidly dangerous hence were still looking for the part, hoping you can help will attach photos of the pipe/connector we need as you can see it doesn't stay in place, thank Ian

I think I would drill small holes and put self tapping screws in and then wrap some tape round so if they do come loose they don’t drop out and go somewhere harmful.

These were a terrible design from new.  As such, most are broken or missing nowadays.

You're unlikely to notice any difference in performance or economy without it on this particular engine.  If you do want to keep it, just tape it on.

I don't think they're made brand new anymore, but you can ask your local Ford dealer.  The part number is 1306950.  Listing has ended but this is the only one I could see on ebay.
