Oil Leak on the automatic gearbox of a ford fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I am new to this forum. I wanted to know if anyone is having the same issues  I am currently  experiancing issues with my  automatic ford fiesta. I bought the car October 2019 and I have never had an issue with it. Three weeks ago  I was driving my car and suddenly my car lost the ability to drive. I moved to a side road and found out that oil was leaking from it.I called the AA and they said the leak is coming from the gear box becuase auto transmission oil cooler pipe was disconnected.  The car was taken to a ford dealership and they said the pipe was disconnected becuase there was a clip missing from it.  I need to know if this is a known issue with ford fiesta and is it easy for a clip to be missing
