WIring Diagram for Fiesta Zetec Blue 2009

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for the above model.

The passenger side electric window has become intermittent and has finally stopped working.

I have checked the winder motor and that is fine if I power it directly from the battery, so I suspect the passenger or driver side switch but I could really do with a wiring diagram.

Does the window work when using the switch on the driver's side or is it the same on both switches?

If it's the same on both switches then it can't be a switch problem

Check for broken wires on the harness where the door harness connects to the body harness, usually the door side because that hinges

Thanks...I'll take a look.

In the mean time I think it would help if I fully described the fault with my passenger window:

1. Winding up started being intermittent but now it's a hard fault.

2. Passenger window will not wind up using passenger button.
It will wind down using passenger button.

3. Driver side window works OK

4. Passenger window won't wind up or down using the driver side buttons.

Does this provide a clue as to what might be wrong?

Most likely problem is as Dave has said. It sounds very much like a broken wire or connection between the passenger side door and the body of the car.

If that's not the case then remove the door card and check the wiring internally and the Door control module for signs of corrosion.

Thanks I'll take a look at that. I already have the door card off.

Here's an image of the rear of the passenger door switch. The yellow/violet and the white/violet go to the window drive motor, all the other wires are black. Are they all supposed to be 12V? 20220902_120621.thumb.jpg.edc30383b39255cfaf1b5463bae188e0.jpg

Yes, conventional wiring on these.

It's the wiring to the motor from the body you want to be checking first
