Ford S-Max: Nearside doors not unlocking

About a month ago the rear nearside passenger door lock stopped unlocking using the remote key on my S-Max. About 3 weeks ago the front passenger door stopped unlocking using the remote key. I have watched a YouTube video on how to remove the door panel and have asked a mechanic and they suggested lubricating all the linkages. My question is: Do you think that it will be necessary to replace the solenoids on both doors please?
