Fiesta07duratec, hoses + blowers Query

Featured Replies

Fiesta 07 Duratec.
Need to take my PESKY07 to a garage to replace some hoses (this diagnosed by AA chap who couldn't provide a full fix- but got me home by fudging a fix on a problematic one)
The rubber hose in question ruptured and dumped the contents of coolant reservoir, it is approximately 3.5 cm diameter. there looks to be two going to the back of the engine bay and one going to the front, the chap said they all look like they need replacing. What are these called exactly? (i'm booking the car into garage to replace but do not want to pay another investigation fee when I've already paid for the AA one)just want to tell them what to do!
In addition, my blowers in the cabin haven't been working and with winter coming need to get fixed for clearing windscreen, the fan was stopping intermittently, lastly only working on 4 setting before giving up completely- the AA chap says this sounds like a burnt out resistor!! does that sound probable?

Thanks in advance

Yes for the resistor cheap easy fix. Hoses will be the ones going to heater control valve on the bulkhead then in to heater matrix also cheap easy fix.👍

Hopefully a nice cheap fix for you. Always running my cars on the cheap reason 1 haven’t got much money reason 2 I’m Scottish.😁
